A word and a colon make a note smart.
Start a line with a region word and the lines under it work together until a blank line. No menus or blocks to learn. Type / on an empty line for a picker, or add your own words, like todo: for a list.
Every line calculates, with named values used on later lines.

Outside a region, any line that ends in an equals sign shows its answer. Click an answer to copy it. When a line can’t be worked out, Scrib says why.

Questions
Does Scrib work on Mac or phones?
Not for now. Scrib is made for Windows 10 and 11 only.
Where are my notes stored?
On your computer, and nowhere else. Scrib keeps a full backup every day and holds on to the last seven. You can export one note, or all of them, as Markdown whenever you like.
What happens after the free trial?
After 7 days Scrib becomes read-only until you enter a license key. Every note still opens, searches, copies and exports, so nothing is ever held back from you.
What does “a year of updates” mean?
You get every new version released in the year after you buy, installed from inside the app. The version you have when that year ends keeps working for good.
Can I use one license on two computers?
The $5 license covers one computer and the $10 license covers three. Moving to a new computer? Choose “Remove from this computer” in Settings on the old one, or email us.
Why does Windows warn me when I install the beta?
Beta builds aren’t signed with a paid Microsoft certificate yet, so Windows SmartScreen says it doesn’t recognise the app. Choose “More info”, then “Run anyway”. Release builds will be signed.
